ClearLake

ClearLake is a framework for rapidly deploying dynamic, database-driven web applications. It is built using the Objective-C programming language, the same language used by hundreds of thousands of applications in the Apple App Store.

Specifications

ClearLake is loosely based on Enterprise Objects Framework, and currently requires the GNU Objective-C runtime. Databases supported are MySQL, Sybase, and MS-SQL. Theoretically it should work with any httpd server that supports CGI; however it has only been tested with Apache Server.

The ClearLake project is the brain child of Chris Osborn, one of the co-founders of Traction Systems.
